COURSE DETAILS

Program of 120 hours:
90 theoretical hours + 30 practical hours

Duration:
3 weeks

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, from 9 to 18 h

In this level divers widen the ability to act with the use of breathing air system from surface with mixed gases such as Nitrox, Trimix and Heliox, which give more safety to the diver and more effectiveness during immersion.

It incorporates the protocols of safety and access to immersion using mixed gases.

General objective of the course

The aim of this course is to provide students the ability to plan and to carry out in a safe and competent way the intervention immersions. Thus they can work in a hyperbaric and underwater environment, using as air breathing system the air supply from surface or a mixture of gases.

Specific objectives

Students are required to:

  • Plan immersions of intervention at various depths using breaking mixtures.
  • Use air and mixtures of gases according to the limitations set by the current legislation.
  • Apply the risk evaluation plan stablished for the intervention using breathing mixtures.
  • Plan and apply the protocols of intervention safety when doing works from diving specialities.

Access requirements

  • Have the previous professional diver qualification of Surface Supplied to 60 metres.
  • Have the medical examination made by a hyperbaric expert, to be able to do the practical training of professional diving.
  • Accredit having the first aid qualifications of First Aid at work and Oxygen Provider.
  • Prove experience in professional diving accredit by the responsible person in the provision of the service.
